Who we are
This policy is issued by Piccadilly Dental Alliance (“PDA”, “we”, “us”), a dentist-owned dental group headquartered at 149–151 Jefferson Ave, Elizabeth, NJ 07201. It applies to piccadillyalliance.com and any page, form or email that links to it.
It does not cover the clinical records of patients treated at our offices. Those are protected health information under HIPAA and are governed by the Notice of Privacy Practices each office provides to its patients.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Subscriptions. Your email address when you subscribe to PDA Insights.
- Report and guide downloads. Your name, email, role and organization.
- Job applications. Your name, contact details, location preference, licensure and education, résumé or profile links and anything you choose to tell us about yourself.
- Correspondence. Whatever you include when you email us.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring page and time of request, used for security and keeping the site running.
- Preference storage. A small setting in your browser that remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter, reports and guides you ask for.
- To review applications, contact candidates and run our hiring process.
- To reply to your questions and requests.
- To keep the website secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To meet our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not use your information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not build advertising profiles.
How we share it
We share personal information only as needed to run this website and our business:
- Service providers that host the site, deliver form submissions and handle email for us, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
- PDA team members and affiliates, including our Center of Excellence in India, who support recruiting and operations.
- Authorities and advisers where the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety and property.
- A successor in a merger, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, social media pixels or cross-site tracking. The only thing we store on your device is your light or dark mode preference, which you can clear at any time in your browser settings.
Because we do not sell or share data for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of. We still honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out request.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California, New Jersey, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete information we hold about you.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising and profiling. We do none of these.
- Appeal if we decline your request.
- Exercise these rights without being treated differently.
How to make a request
Email hr@piccadillyalliance.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, extendable once by 45 days where permitted by law. We will verify your request by matching the details you give us with the information we hold. You may use an authorized agent, who must provide written permission from you.
If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with the subject “Privacy appeal.” We will respond within the time required by your state’s law. If you remain unsatisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.
California residents
In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information, from you directly and from your device:
- Identifiers
- Name, email address, phone number, IP address.
- Professional and education information
- Role, organization, licensure, education and work history you provide in an application.
- Internet activity
- Pages visited and browser information recorded in server logs.
- Sensitive personal information
- Only if you choose to include it in an application. Used solely to evaluate your application.
We use these categories for the purposes in “How we use it” and disclose them only to the recipients in “How we share it.” We do not sell or share any category. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, you may request information about disclosures for direct marketing purposes; we make none.
Job applicants
If you apply for a role, we use your information to evaluate your application, communicate with you and, if you join us, to begin onboarding. Information about race, ethnicity, gender, veteran or disability status is always voluntary, is kept separate from hiring decisions and is used only for equal-opportunity reporting where required.
We keep applications for up to two years so we can consider you for future openings, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Health information
Please do not send health or treatment information through this website. It is built for professional, editorial and recruiting purposes, not patient care. If you are a patient, contact your PDA office directly. Records created during your care are protected under HIPAA and your office’s Notice of Privacy Practices.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires: newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe, download requests for up to two years, and server logs for a limited period set by our hosting provider.
We protect information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we will notify you of a breach where the law requires it.
International transfers
PDA operates in the United States and India. Information you submit may be processed in either country by our team and service providers, with safeguards consistent with this policy.
Children
This website is intended for dental professionals, job candidates and adults interested in our work. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy as our practices or the law change, and we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on this page before they take effect.
